Federation for Indian Arts (FIA) was set up in October 2002 as a not for profit organisation to promote the performing arts of the Indian Subcontinent through contemporary productions, heritage, workshops and multimedia projects. FIA encourages and supports practitioners to draw upon the rich cultures of India to create work in classical, traditional and contemporary sectors

About Dr. Ananda Gupta
Dr Gupta is a Opthalmic Surgeon by profession.
His passion is Rabindranath Tagore, his music and Indian classical music. He is on the National Steering Committe for the Tagore 150 years birth celebrations to be held in the UK in 2011 for Dartington Hall along with Satish Kumar, Mark Tully and Michael Wood.

He is the Principal and Artistic Director for Fedaration for Indian Arts (FIA), UK and Dakshinayan UK. Please note, Dakshinayan is the academic unit of Dakshinee, Kolkata, India which is the foremost Tagore institution in India. Mr. Gupta graduated from Dakshinee scoring the First Class First position and a Gold Medal. He also won the Suil Kumar Roy Smriti Puraskar.
